# Pick up the same browser on any device

> The browser lives in the cloud, not on your computer. Open it from a laptop, a tablet or a phone and it is the same Chrome, with the same tabs, sign-ins and IP.

- **Start here, finish there.** Begin at your desk and carry on from your phone; nothing needs syncing.
- **Made for touch.** Tap, swipe, the on-screen keyboard and input methods such as Chinese or Japanese work on phones and tablets, in an ordinary web browser.
- **One place at a time.** Opening it on another device offers Use here, so two screens never type into it at once.

## Questions

### Do I need an app on my phone?

No. The live view opens in an ordinary web browser on a phone, tablet or computer.

### What if I open it on two devices?

It is used in one place at a time: opening it on another device offers Use here, which moves it there.

### Are my tabs and sign-ins kept?

Yes. The profile, cookies, extensions and sign-ins are kept on encrypted storage between sessions, also while the browser sleeps.
